Why November and December are the best time to train in Goa

November to February is Goa’s dry season. Days are sunny, evenings are cooler, and the monsoon rains are over, which is why this is the most popular time of year for yoga teacher training in Goa.

  • Comfortable weather for practice. Morning and evening sessions are cooler, and you can enjoy the beach in between. Read our guide to the best time to visit Goa.
  • Arambol at its best. Beach cafés, sunset gatherings and local markets are open for the season. Discover more about Arambol Beach and Goa.
  • Christmas in Goa. The 16–26 December batch lets you spend Christmas in a calm, supportive community by the sea. If you’d like to stay on for New Year, see our Christmas & New Year Yoga Retreat in Goa.
  • A short course that fits a holiday. At 11 days, the training fits into annual leave or a winter break. Learn more about how to prepare for yoga teacher training.
