Why Choose Yoga Teacher Training in Sri Lanka in January?
- The best weather of the year. December to March is peak season on the southern coast: warm, sunny and mostly dry. Read our Sri Lanka Travel Guide to plan your visit.
- A calm place to focus. Green Serene Villa sits in tropical greenery away from traffic and crowds.
- Sundays to explore. Spend your rest day at the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort or on the palm-lined south coast beaches.
- Small groups. With no more than 10 students, your teachers know your practice and give you personal feedback through our 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka also gives you something a studio course at home can’t: eleven days away from work and daily routine, in a country where Buddhist and Hindu traditions are part of everyday life. You wake to birdsong, practise in tropical greenery and eat fresh sattvic food prepared for you, so all your energy goes into learning. Many of our students say this is what made their yoga teacher training in Sri Lanka life-changing, not just educational.

Your Teachers
The course is led by the Diksha Yoga School teaching team, following the method of our founder, Yogini Manisha (E-RYT 500, YACEP). She has spent more than 16 years teaching and has guided over 23,000 students from more than 80 countries. Her belief shapes every day of the training: flexible yoga teachers are easy to find, but meditative, authentic ones are rare.
