Why do your advanced training in Sri Lanka, and why Galle?
An advanced training asks for a month of focus, away from your own classes and routines. Sri Lanka’s living Buddhist and Hindu tradition, tropical nature and slower pace make that easier. Galle, on the palm-lined south coast, adds calm beaches, the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort and an included transfer from Colombo airport.
- Space to go deeper: Green Serene Villa sits in tropical greenery, away from traffic and crowds, with a spacious yoga shala.
- Feedback, not crowds: a maximum of 10 students means your teachers follow your teaching closely.
- One fee, few surprises: training, room, meals, airport pickup and local excursions are all included.
- Rest days done right: on Sundays you can explore Galle Fort, Unawatuna beach, the stilt fishermen at Koggala or a turtle hatchery.

Advanced teaching practicum and assessment
The practicum is the heart of the 300-hour course. Instead of learning the basics of leading a class, you refine how you teach, with individual feedback from our teaching team.
During the course you will:
- Plan and teach full classes for different levels, including progressive sequences that build to a peak pose
- Sharpen your cueing, demonstration and use of voice
- Practise hands-on adjustments on fellow students, with a mindful, student-aware approach
- Adapt classes for different bodies, limitations and abilities
- Receive individual feedback on your sequencing, cueing, adjustments and teaching presence
At the end of the course you complete a written and a practical assessment. Students who attend every session and complete the practicum receive their 300-hour certificate.
