It is held at Health Oasis Resort on Bang Por Beach, on the island’s quiet north coast. Why Choose Koh Samui for Yoga Teacher Training?
A calm island setting
Koh Samui moves at a slower pace than Thailand’s cities. Our venue sits on the north coast, well away from the nightlife of Chaweng and Lamai, so early-morning practice and a steady routine come easily.
Everything arranged in one place.
Accommodation, meals, yoga practice and classes are arranged as part of the program. You walk from your room to the yoga hall, the dining area and the beach, with no commuting and no daily planning.
An international yoga community Koh Samui draws yoga students and wellness travellers from all over the world. You study alongside people from different countries and backgrounds, and many of those friendships last well beyond the course.
Real time away from daily life
A residential training removes the distractions of home and work. For 23 days, your only job is to learn, practise and reflect.
Where the Training Takes Place: Health Oasis Resort, Bang Por Beach
Our training is held at Health Oasis Resort on Bang Por Beach, in the Maenam area on the north coast of Koh Samui. The resort is 35 to 45 minutes by taxi from Samui Airport.
Health Oasis has welcomed wellness guests since 1997. Every room is within 30 metres of the beach, and the resort has a yoga studio, saltwater pools, a spa and sauna, a restaurant, and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Bang Por is one of the island’s quieter beaches, with calm water, local seafood restaurants along the shore and views across to Koh Phangan. It is a place to study, not a party strip.

Since 15 September 2026, Thailand’s visa-free stay for tourists is 30 days, down from 60. It covers passport holders from 60 countries and territories, including the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, EU member states and India. The 23-day training fits within that limit, with about a week to spare.

Your passport. If your country is not on the current list, you may need a visa in advance.
Your purpose. The exemption is for tourism, so confirm with your nearest Thai embassy that it covers a short yoga course.
Your total stay. If you plan to travel before or after the training and will pass 30 days, arrange a tourist visa first.
Every foreign visitor must also complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) at tdac.immigration.go.th in the three days before arrival.
Free Time on the Island
The main purpose of your stay is yoga education, but free time lets you experience Koh Samui as well. Students spend it:
Swimming and walking on Bang Por Beach, steps from the rooms
Visiting the evening markets in Maenam and at Fisherman’s Village in Bophut
Seeing the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem temples in the north-east of the island
Resting, reading and journalling
Personal time outside scheduled classes keeps a healthy balance between intensive study, rest and social connection. Many students find that the quiet hours are when the teachings settle in.
