Places are open on our yoga teacher training in Thailand December 2026 batches, starting from 5 December at Health Oasis Resort on Bang Por Beach, Koh Samui. Train on a quiet stretch of the island’s north coast, with views across to Koh Phangan, and spend Christmas by the sea. Each group is capped at 10 students.

What’s December like in Koh Samui?
We’ll be honest: October to December is Koh Samui’s rainy season, with the heaviest rain usually in November. In December the rain eases, and the island moves towards its driest, sunniest months from January to March.
What this means for your training:
- Expect some showers, especially in early December, with sunnier spells as the month goes on.
- Your practice isn’t affected. Classes take place in the shala, and the daily schedule runs as normal.
- It’s green and calmer. The island is lush and quieter than in peak season.
- Finish in the sunshine. The 200 and 300 hour courses end as Koh Samui’s best weather begins.

Christmas and New Year on Koh Samui

Which December course is right for you?
- 50 hour (7 days, from €1,000): a one-week immersion. Three start dates.
- 100 hour (11 days, from €1,400): deepen your practice and try teaching. Counts toward our 200 hour training.
- 200 hour (23 days, from €2,300): become a certified teacher and register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200.
- 300 hour (28 days, from €2,700): advanced training for teachers who already hold a 200 hour certificate.

Not included: flights, Thai visa or travel authorisation, travel insurance, dinners, personal expenses and Yoga Alliance registration fees.
A typical day
Classes run Monday to Saturday, from Jal Neti and pranayama at 6:30 AM and morning asana, through philosophy, alignment, meditation, anatomy and teaching methodology, to evening Vinyasa Flow and satsang at 8:30 PM. On Sundays you’re free to visit the Big Buddha temple, Fisherman’s Village in Bophut or the Na Muang waterfalls.
